What TEDxULB 2016 Is All About
What is TEDx?
-
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxULB, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxULB event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
STAYING HUMAN
-
Each year we are gathering our university community around speakers and generating new connections and ideas. This year, TEDxULB is exploring the possibility of human beings. We will question what it means to be human and what it will mean in the future. From medicine to technology, through ethics and art, you will meet amazing speakers and minds of our time around this third edition of TEDxULB 2016.
